Victory Day is a day of selfless heroism, a selfless feat of the people flying the flag of Victory. On the eve of May 9-Victory Day at the M.O. Auezov Pedagogical College held a lecture hour organized by the department “Foreign language”. The purpose of the lecture hour: to promote the advanced exploits and life paths of graduates of educational institutions who took part in the Great Patriotic War. In the history of the educational institution, the following warriors were named in immortal letters: Izgutty Aitykov, Mansurov Aimuhamed Kopezhanovich, Tynybayev Demen Zakharievich, Shektibayev Kiyamet Shektibayevich, Seifullin Enbek Seifoldaevich, Shulyatnikav Vasily Alexandrovich, Buntovskikh Vasily Vasilyevich, Azilkhan Nurshaikov, Bekbayev Asylkhan Tabyldyuly. Students collected and sorted information about these individuals, and compiled a bibliographic collection. The collected material will be provided to the majority of students. The lecture hour was attended by students of the departments “Philology”, “Primary education”, “Preschool Education and training”, “Physical Culture”. At the end of the lecture hour, Zhambyl Zhabayev’s poem “Leningradets,  dety moi” was performed in 3 languages, and the song “Aliya” was performed.
